Begin your Recovery experience paddling through the beautiful bioluminescent Laguna Grande Bay in Fajardo on this kayak tour. Traverse the extensive mangrove forests with your tour guide and learn about the science behind this natural phenomenon that occurs in the Laguna Grande. See the lights twinkle below the water as you paddle along and admire the beautiful coastal scenery at dusk before heading back to the starting point. "Kayaking 101" lesson before you go. Two-person Kayaks, maximum weight per kayak is 450 pounds with no more than 225 pounds per person.

Historical forts, museums, and picturesque plazas throughout the city provide a rich cultural experience. Join a historical walking tour by knowledgeable guides and visit San Cristobal Fort, the largest fortification built by the Spaniards in the New World. Afterward, leisurely tour the city for additional sightseeing and one-of-a-kind shopping. Old San Juan offers unique shopping opportunities, including lovely souvenir shops, local artisan stands, designer outlet stores, and fine jewelry.

El Yunque National Rainforest – Walk & Swim Tour (Monday) Monday April 20
Visit the only Tropical Rain Forest in the US Forest System and connect with nature; spanning 29,000 acres with its highest peak over 3,500 ft. over sea level, El Yunque formerly known as the Caribbean National Forest. Originally set aside in 1876 by the Spanish Crown, the Forest represents one of the oldest reserves in the Western Hemisphere. With over 240 species (26 species are found nowhere else) of trees and plants. The Forest contains rare wildlife such as the Puerto Rican Parrot, which is one of the ten most endangered species of birds in the world. Our first stop will take you to the top of Yokahu Tower for a 360-degree view of the forest.
The second stop at La Coca Falls is a magnificent backdrop for photos. Our final stop will take you on an interpretive trip down Angelito Trail, your guide will share interesting facts about the abundant flora and fauna in the forest. This trail leads to Las Damas natural pool where you can swim in the crystal-clear and refreshing waters or just sit back and enjoy the natural beauty and tranquil sounds of the Rainforest.

Our zipline tour is a must-do activity for adventure enthusiasts. Safety is our top priority; harnesses and associated hardware are all provided, fitted, and checked by the Rainforest Zipline staff
Wear shorts or long pants and closed-toe shoes. Long hair must be worn in a ponytail or tied up in a bun. In case you get wet, please bring an extra change of clothes. No bathing suit, sandals or water shoes.
